Gorilla Launches Porters on the Magento Ecommerce Platform

Porters, your one stop shop for photography equipment and digital imaging services, needed a partner to both give their site a fresh, simple design while also integrating their new site into the Magento ecommerce platform. Gorilla was tasked with creating an information architecture for the site that would make Porters' sizable catalog simple to navigate as well as design an uncluttered user friendly interface. The final design was created giving the site a fresh new look while still utilizing the ground rules of excellent ecommerce and SEO design. Gorilla successfully integrated the new Magento site with Porters’ AS400 running Alliance and ON10 for their fulfillment system for inventory, shipping and accounting management. The new site also boasts such features as a "View price in Cart" functionality, both an instant and mail-in rebate system, and a "Featured Products" section on the home page giving Porters the ability to highlight individual products.
